The Platform Industrie 4.0 “is about a coordinated and orderly structuring of the digital change of the industry, the creation of suitable and reliable framework conditions for companies and employees as well as a need-based industrial policy for the future competitiveness of the location Germany. It also enables stakeholders to initiate alliances and networks, to identify relevant trends and developments in a digitized industry and to support German SMEs with the implementation of Industry 4.0 by means of concrete recommendations and best practices.” This is how the Industry 4.0 platform presents itself. And oee.cloud is allowed to contribute with a practical example.

Practical examples are presented on the Industry 4.0 map, where Industry 4.0 is currently being practiced. Among other things, the focus is on software solutions for the production and logistics of manufacturing companies. oee.cloud is also positioned in this environment. Following an evaluation of the solution by the advisory board, the entry was made alongside such renowned Industry 4.0 companies as Wittenstein, Bosch, Siemens, Kuka, Trumpf or various Fraunhofer Institutes.
“The entire team of hardware and software developers as well as the management of oee.cloud is pleased about the honorable entry and the attendant attention to the simple and fast to implement solution. Especially for medium-sized companies the information about Industry 4.0 on the platform is a good opportunity to get in contact with the subject of digitization.” says Prof. Dr. Markus Focke, Managing Director of ifp Software GmbH, which is the company behind oee.cloud.
